Update (9/2): This Samsung NF series has gone official in the US. What we have is the NF210 and NF310 in the US, as well as an upgraded Samsung N150. Read on below, I’ve updated everything along with photos.

Samsung has announced a new NF series of netbooks (along with some 13.3-inch and over notebooks) over in Korea today which comprises three netbooks, one of which shows a lot of promise with a HD screen and a dual core processor.

There’s the lowest end NF110 which is said to be “affordable” and that’s about it. No mention of this for a US release. However, at the lower end, the Samsung N150 will be getting an update to a dual core Atom N550 processor with an upgraded chassis. It’ll be landing in October.

Then there’s the NF210 with a 10.” 1024 x 600 display, Intel Atom N455 processor, integrated graphics, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 0.3MP webcam and Windows 7 Starter and a whopping 8850 mAh, 66Whr 6-cell battery good for up to 14 hours. I wouldn’t doubt it with that capacity. Priced at $379 and will be exclusive to Sam’s Club.

Last of all there’s the NF310 which packs a 1366 x 768 HD 10.1″ display, dual core Atom N550 processor, 1GB DDR4 RAM (no typo), surround sound and Windows 7 Starter. Will be priced at $399 and due out in October.
