Lenovo is stepping up its tablet game, aiming to please business customers who traditionally gravitate towards Apple’s The Verge and from the FCC, the ThinkPad 2 will have an Intel Clover Trail dual core CPU, 2 GB RAM, 64 GB Flash memory and a 10.1 inch WXGA display.. Furthermore, it will come with a fingerprint reader, NFC-LTE functionality, an optional keyboard dock and even a stylus. With these features, Lenovo is in a position to market the ThinkPad 2 as a serious iPad competitor in the business sector.
Neither price nor the exact date of release has been revealed, but because the device is said to already be at the FCC, we can probably assume that it will be available in late October, when Microsoft’s Windows 8 is released.
