ASUS wants their Windows 8 devices to be at the fore front of the competition. At least the TF600 and TF810 and two new Transformer tablets will come with Microsoft’s new touch OS Windows 8 pre-installed. At the IFA 2012 in late August and early September, the Taiwanese manufacturer will bring its Windows 8 devices to the next level and ignite us with intense interest. We and other media representatives are invited to a small media briefing at the Science Center in Berlin. Although ASUS won’t confirm it, a major theme of the event is sure to be Windows 8 devices, given the expected launch of the newest version of Windows in the end of October 2012.
Within the next few weeks, we will hear more information about ASUS’s event at the Potsdamer Platz, so we will, of course, keep you up to date. ASUS probably wants to present its new tablets also new(hello “ ”) and convertible notebooks with Windows 8, to get early positioning as a leading supplier of devices with the new operating system.
