The new Acer Aspire One 756 has arrivied in our Taipei office in all of its 11.6 inch glory! We’re pretty excited to have gotten it so quickly but then again the ACER headquarters is literally around the corner. This new Ultra-thin notebook comes sporting the Intel Celeron 877 processor that offers significantly better performance than a netbook with an Atom processor since it offers a Windows Experience Index score of 4.4!
Windows 7 starts up with in about 25 seconds and it starts at $330 on Amazon so this is basically the new netbook. The video below takes it out of the box and compares it to some previous generations of Acer Netbooks.
