We were expecting some pretty crazy and pretty amazing stuff from Apple at this year’s WWDC and so far we aren’t being disappointed. Apple just announced their new MacBook line-up: the new MacBook Air and the new MacBook Pro- both ready to ship today.

First up we saw the new MacBook Air. The new Air will come in 11 and 13 inch models. The 11 inch features 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 4 GB RAM, Intel HD 4000 Graphics, 1.7 GHz i5 processor, 5 hours of battery life and 128 GB flash storage. It measures only .68  and .11 inches and weighs a mere 2.38 pounds. The 13 inch boasts a 1440 x 900 display, 1.8 GHz i5 processor, 4 GB RAM, 7 hours of battery and  256 GB flash memory. This model measures only .11 and .68 inches and weighs 2.96 pounds. The 13 inch starts at $1499 and the 11 inch at $1090. Hefty sums, but hey, for what you’re getting, its not too shabby to an Apple fan.

Next up (drumroll) the updated MacBook Pro. The new Pro will feature Intel Ivy Bridge quad core i7 and up to 8 GB RAM. The 13 inch model will have 1280 x 500 resolution, 2.9 GHz dual core i7, Intel HD graphics 4000, 750 GB HDD and  7 hours battery life. It measures a mere .95 inches and weighs only 4.5 pounds– not too bad for a Pro. Prices start at $1499. Its 15 inch brother aims to please with 1400 x 900 resolution, 2.6 GHz quad core i7, GeForce GT 650m, 750 GB HDD and 7 hours of battery life. It also measures .95 inches and weighs slightly more at 5.6 pounds.

And now, the next generation of MacBook Pro. The next generation will be nearly as thin as the MacBook Air. What? Preposterous, you might say- nope it’s real. At .71 inches, the next generation is only a few hairs away from its cousin the MacBook Air and it weighs only 4.5 pounds. The 15.4 inch display will have a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and 220 ppi. The MacBook will come with an SD, HDMI,USB 3 USB 2, Thunderbolt, and headphone jack ports. It also will come with WiFi and bluetooth 4.0 capabilities, Nvida GeForce GT 650 m, quad core i7 or i5, 756 GB flash memory and will have 7 hours of battery life. All this can be yours, assuming you have a very fat Wallet. Prices start at $2199. Kinda makes you whistle.
