Motorola has a long standing relationship with Texas Instrument and has enjoyed the occasional flirtation with Tegra for their Smartphones & Tablets, but it seems that they are going to be getting friendly with Qualcomm & their Snapdragon platform. There are some recently leaked benchmarks from Blog of Mobile are accurate, Motorola could be switching to Qualcomm and their popular new S4 Snapdragon processor. The results show a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm being used, most likely the extremely powerful and efficient dual-core processor found in the HTC One S.
The newly leaked benchmark not shows a shift to Qualcomm, but it also seems to indicate that the up coming Smartphones will be sporting a 720p HD display on AT&T with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Could this be a new Motorola Atrix or a RAZR HD but that’s just speculation of course.
