One of the few certainties of the tech world is that where Samsung leads, LG will follow, and vice versa. So it comes as no surprise that just over a month after the world first saw the 7″ Samsung Galaxy Tab, LG has come out and announced that it too has an Android tablet up it’s sleeve, slated (hah!) for a Q4 release.
Unfortunately that’s all we know about this device – that it exists. The announcement was buried at the tail-end of a press release about an update to LG’s smartphone line, and LG hasn’t said anything about size, specs or pricing, although you can bet they’ll be wanting to trump Samsung’s Galaxy in the performance stakes, so the minimum we can realistically expect is a 1.2GHz processor and Android 2.2.
