Speculation is hot and heavy about Samsung’s plans for Mobile World Congress, they have announced that they will not be releasing their flagship Galaxy SIII but news of a Galaxy SII Plus have emerged. Industry insider Eldar Murtazin has published a photo’s of an unknown handset and may or may not be the rumored SII Plus.
The handset looks very similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S II handset, but the buttons beneath the display have clearly been updated to support Android 4.0. However, if the rumor mill is to be believed then this is not the Galaxy SII Plus since the benchmarks that have recently surfaced was running an older version of Android.
This is all speculation, the photo could be a fake and the operating system could have been updated leaving the benchmark rumor false. Samsung was nice enough to let us know that they will be launching the SIII at a separate event, I think that’s as much early information as we can hope for!
