Acer held a few events in Germany and showed off an upcoming Cedar Trail Netbook, the Acer Aspire D270.  This 10.1-inch device has a matte display and is standard with a 49Wh six-cell battery. Under the hood we’ve got the new Intel Atom N2600 or N2800 1GB ofDDR3 RAM and optional 3G with a 500GB HDD and Windows 7 starter. Thanks to the new Intel Cedar Trail processor this bad boy also features an HDMI port along side the netbook standard 3 x USB 2.0, SD card reader, ethernet port & audio jacks.

There is a short hands on video below where you can see the interesting design they’ve choosen in addition to the ripple tear drop that has become standard on many Acer devices.  Checking out the below video i do have to comment that I really like Acer’s keyboard, the full size right shift key isn’t standard on many netbook’s found in the market.  Having this larger key really does make a difference in your typing experience.
