Our good friend Charbax over at ARMDevices.net has uncovered a real gem during CES, an Android powered wrist watch. It’s being built by Chinese manufacturer Shenzhen Huitengmei Electronic Technology Development Company who usually makes iPad cases. If you’re keen on updating your calculator watch you’ll be pleased to know you just need to pop in your GSM SIM card.
Under the hood we’ve got the Mediatek MTK6516 processor, which is similar to what was in the original iPhone…the one with out 3G. But we can expect a bump up to the MTK6573 processor, which would enable 3G speeds. The watch also sports a 2-inch 320 x 240 screen, an SD slot for storage up to 32GB, and a camera of unspecified resolution.
Lucky for you there is a video so you can judge it for your self.
