What a nice surprise for German Galaxy Note users: if you go to a certain Samsung microsite, you can sign up to receive a free flip cover for your phablet.
Normally this accessory costs 30 Euros, so it’s a nice little present for Samsung to show they appreciate their Galaxy Note customers. As with anything, the offer will continue while supplies last, so hurry on over to the microsite to sign up for your free gift.
This is likely the same case that Sascha is showing off in the video below. He got a quick look at various accessories for the Galaxy Note at IFA 2011, including a car dock, a desk cradle, and a different stylus, which is actually shown in the picture above.
The flip cover attaches by replacing the back cover of the Galaxy Note, which is kind of a interesting way of doing this, instead of trying to use bulky clips to attach to the outer edges of the device. Nice design.
