Display technology has been hot and heavy in the media lately with Pixel Qi coming to market and showing working prototypes at Computex 2010. The other side of the coin is color e-paper is gaining momentum, e-paper can’t do video because its refresh rate is not even in the same league as an LCD screen. But we are excited never the less to see this technology improve since they will be competing for the same space as e-paper improves. Delta Electronics and Japan’s Bridgestone Corporation have developed this 13.1 inch color e-paper prototype. They are also showing off e-ticketing, so a retail store could save tags and reuse them after each sale by changing the tag details.
Thanks Charbax at Armdevices.net for this great video
