It’s finally here the official Marvel Comics Android app! You can now get all of your favorite superheroes and villans — more than 1,400 issues in all, in the safety and comfort of your Android smartphone or tablet.
Your downloads are backed up on Marvel’s website, so switching devices won’t make you lose what you’ve purchased. There are free previews available as well. The app itself works great, the panel-by-panel view brings the art and word balloons up close, but you can pinch zoom to get even closer. Tap on the right side of the screen to move forward in the comic or on the left to move backward. Individual issues start at 99 cents and go up to about 10 bucks for a series collected into one volume.
