Nvidia Kal-El tablets are hitting the street this year, and at AllthingsD’s AsiaD conference, Asus Chairman Jonney Shih, revealed the next generation of the Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

The very slim (at 8.3mm) Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime has a 10-inch display, and a mini-HDMI port for connection to a computer monitor or HDTV. It has a beautiful new design with a woven aluminum finish, and will run Google Android operating system. We assume it will initially come with honeycomb, but will upgradable to the latest Ice Cream Sandwich.
Little more expect the 14.5 hour battery life is currently know about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, but we’re told that there will be the “official reveal” on November 9th with more details.
