Apple annouced the release of the iPhone 4S which sports the same basic iPhone4 design but with a new A5 processor.  This new chip is offers dual core graphics, which mean the graphics can be up to 7 times faster than in the previous iPhone. To show off the gaming ability of the handset Epic Games came on stage and showed off the all new Infinity blade 2.  The Verge did notice some stuttering in the game play but it was very slight.

For such a gmaing device one must wonder what the battery life is like, well the iPhone 4S has 8 hours of talk time, 14 hours of 2g talk time, 6 hours of 3g browsing, 9 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.

The biggest fault of the iPhone 4 when it first came out was the antenna, and it seems that they’ve fixed that with the iPhone4S. They’ve added in a metal band  around the outside of the handset. The phone will be able to intelligently switch between the antennas for even better call quality.

You’ll also enjoy faster download speeds the iPhone4 rocked 7.2Mbps down and the iPhone4S will be capable of 14.4Mbps. Like the iPhone4 the 4S will come in GSM and CDMA flavors. The camera is also sporting a new sensor with its 8MP Autofocus along side a very high resolution of 3264 x2448. It also has a Hybrid IR filter, better white balance and takes a photo in just 1.1 seconds so you don’t have to wait forever to take your next shot.

There are some definite improvements to the original iPhone4, but we’re keen to learn more about the iPhone5!
