A few weeks ago, several new model numbers were uncovered, Eee PC 1201K and Eee PC 1201X, but just the model numbers and alot of speculation. Netbook Italia managed to grab an updated product manual that shows us what the case of the new models looks like, but not shots of the whole case. Below you’ll find the Eee PC 1201X with what appears to be the exact same case as the 1201T. We have yet to know what kind of chipset it will be sporting which is where the specualtion that it will be AMD like th 1201T comes in.
Above we have the 1201K which has now USB ports on the right side and no picture of the left, but we can also see there is no access to the bottom of the computer. We are starting to see this old school MSI attitude come into play with a lot of new netbooks. And with this comes more speculation, Netbook Italia guesses that this model might have a VIA Nano processor. When contact Via claims that they will have design wins in the next few month, leaving us with a big question mark. We are expecting that all of our questions will be answered at Computex next month.
