Medion released their first smartphone at IFA 2011 which measures in at 4.3-inches and runs Gingerbread. We’ve only got a few details about this device from Medion, but so far we’re pretty impressed by its build quality considering its an early sample. The Smartphone is running an 800Mhz Qualcomm processor and offers a screen resolution of 800 x 480 and on the back we’ve got a 5-MegaPixel camera.

Medion is shipping it with its own navigation app, GoPal, which usually runs you 15-20 Euros and comes with maps fron Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The smartphone itself is only 150 Grams and is meant to be released for the holiday season or at some point in Q4 of 2011. In regards to pricing we expect it to be in the 300-350Euro price range.
