It rumored that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 3 will be hitting the streets this fall, so a price drop on the current Transformer would be in order. Its all speculation of course but we’re glad to see the Transformer drop in price to $350 at Walmart which is a $50 discount.
Owners of the first-generation Transformer have continued to receive attention from ASUS, with regular updates that have kept the tablet up to date with Android 3.1 and 3.2. The original is based on NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 platform, while its successor is expected to be based on the quad-core Tegra 3 platform.
What ever the reason we’re happy to see the price drop since its our top pick for Android tablet at the moment, its added keyboard makes its productivity level incredibly high.
