Update – the HP Touchpad 4G has shown up for pre-order at Amazon.com for $699.99. It’s rumored to be launching this month according to a previous leak.
Looks like HP is trying to keep its early adopters happy by giving them an App Credit worth $50! If you picked up a Touchpad between July 1 and August 4. Users have been told to look out for an e-mail over the next week with further details on how to take advantage of the offer!
The webOS tablet is currently discounted by up to $200 between August 5 and 7 as the company seeks to gain sales traction. HP is offering a $100 instant discount on the tablet, which Staples has also matched over this weekend bringing the cost of the tablet down to $300 for the 16GB model and $400 for the 32GB model.
Users who are eligible for the $50 App Catalog credit will have until December 31 to use the credit at which time it will expire.
