There is no doubt that Sony has been enveloped in the product of eReaders since before many other companies we see today. The deal with Sony is that their eReaders aren’t as popular to the users as we see others like the Nook from Barnes & Noble and the Kindle from Amazon. Reportedly, this time Sony is looking to ramp up sales and make a real push on their own new pair of eReaders possibly as soon as August.

Reports say that Sony’s eReaders will have two versions running from $180 up to $300 both with new software and hardware updates. There has been no mention of 3G capabilities but a promising yes on WiFi. Apparently, the eReaders will land in front of the new tablets Sony will be launching in the future.

There has be a lot of speculation about the Sony S1 and S2 Android tablets about being available later this year. We tend to ask our selves, if Amazon is dropping their prices on its Kindle 3G down to roughly $139, what will Sony add to its eReaders to make them more impressive than the others?
