Gigabyte now has their latest 11.6-inch laptop convertible – the Gigabyte T1125P – up for pre-order. This model will replace the now EOL’ed Gigabyte T1125N from last year. Both are identical in looks and specs except the newer model switches out an older Nvidia Geforce 310M for a newer, faster Geforce 410M graphics. That’s with Nvidia Optimus, like the older model, so Intel’s integrated HD graphics is there to help save battery life. Some other features include a docking station with DVD burner, 4 dual-channel speakers including 2 subwoofers and two USB 3.0 ports.
The specs include an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 capacitive touch display, Intel Core i5-470UM processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, eSATA, HDMI, SD card reader, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, Windows 7 Home Premium and a 6-cell battery. As with most convertible laptops, this one is quite heavy for an 11.6-incher at 1.73kg or 3.8 pounds.
We took a look at the Gigabyte T1125N late last year and, as mentioned, it’s identical in looks to the T1125P:
