Update: A quick notice. The Acer Ac700 Chromebook will actually be shipping on July 11.

Acer’s AC700 Chromebook has already faced a couple of delays. We’ve been expecting it to ship in mid-July for the Wi-Fi model, according to Amazon.com. To clear things up, Acer has gone official on a new launch date. This month! Only two days left in June so it’d better show up pretty fast? Amazon hasn’t updated and I don’t spot it at Best Buy yet, either. Pricing hasn’t changed at $349.99. The 3G version is nowhere to be seen anymore but that’s because it has been moved to a summer release.

Cooking up those specs again – Chrome OS, an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display, Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB of flash storage, a 1.3MP webcam, b/g/n Wi-Fi, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI out, a 4-in-1 card reader and a 6-cell battery good for up to 6 hours. Weighs 2.95 pounds.

Check out the Acer Chromia AC700 at Amazon.com.
