It was this Saturday when a product release calendar was leaked from Walmart showing release dates for the Acer Iconia Tab A100 and Vizio 8-inch tablet. The Acer tablet is scheduled to begin shipping in five weeks, so we may be looking at early July here. Now it’s no surprise to hear that price tags and actual A100 tablets have been spotted in some Walmart stores across America.
Those price tags reveal that pricing begins at $349 for 8GB of internal storage and $449 (what we heard from Acer) for 16GB. We’ve heard before figures tossed about and now it finally makes sense! Specs have already been announced but what is confirmed in these price tags include Android 3.0, a 1024 x 600 resolution, 2MP and 5MP front and rear cameras and a dual-core 1GHz processor (which is Tegra 2)
