Linaro and Samsung have joined forces to help make developers’ lives all that more awesome with the Origen development board – powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos 4210 dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A9 silicon, Mali 400 graphics, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, multi-codec 1080p HD video playback at 30 FPS, HDMI, Wireless LAN, SD card slot, USB 2.0, Bluetooth, camera support and more. Linaro backs that up on the software side with open source software and development tools for Android and Ubuntu for use with this board. Future plans, dependening on demand, may include support for Chrome OS, WebOS and MeeGo, although the latter is a tricky matter due to the OS’ ties with Intel.

Base price for the board itself is $199 with pricing jumping up to $394 for the full kit including a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, touch screen, cables, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other stuff. Shipping is expected in late June, early July. You can purchase at the link below.
