Research labs are always coming out with all the cool stuff! MIT has developed Junkyard Jumbotron, an app enabling multiple devices, smartphones, notebooks, tablets in fact anything else with a browser to create a multi-screendisplay. The app uses QR codes to learn where each display is relatively positioned, and then spreads a single image across those multiple screens.

Interaction with the image is possible with pink to zoom or dragging it, either using a touchscreen or mouse. You’ll need devices with internet access and a phone with a camera. MIT is currently offering the beta version for free and hopes to video soon.
