We’re still a couple of weeks from that February 9th announcement but the leaks continue. This time there’s an internal spec sheet leaked for the larger 9.7-inch Topaz tablet which dates back to last fall, thanks to the folks at Pre Central. There’s confirmation of some specs leaked earlier – a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz CPU and a 1024 x 768 resolution. The CPU has an Adreno 220 GPU which supports Open GLES 2.0 / Open VG 1.1 acceleration, 1080p video and more (see Anandtech).
New here is mention of an IPS screen, with Gorilla Glass, along with a few other specs. The Topaz is expected to be released in WiFi, 3G HSPA and 4G LTE models with CDMA coming later down the track, along with three storage options – 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. A slot for a full sized SIM card slot also there.
