Toshiba’s AMD Fusion based Toshiba NB550D, with an Ontario C-50 APU and Radeon HD 6250 graphics, recently launched in Europe (and the UK) and Australia (PC Authority had a quick hands on preview earlier this week but didn’t reveal much yet other than it feels snappier than typical 10-inch Atom based netbooks).
Sadly, Liliputing heard from Toshiba that the device won’t be heading to the US, at least in the near future. Well, there’s always the Acer Aspire One 522 hanging out at Amazon.com although there’s still no word on when it’ll ship.
