Here’s the latest 11.6-incher to be announced with AMD Fusion – Fujitsu’s Lifebook PH50/C. The company has been making 11.6-inch ‘thin and light’ notebooks in both Intel and AMD flavors for a couple of years already and this one takes over from last year’s Lifebook PH520 series which sported AMD’s Nile / Athlon II Neo platform.
The design has been slightly changed but still resembles older Fujitsu designs. The specs – an 11.6″ 1366 x 768 display, AMD E-350 Zacate APU, Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 2GB of RAM, 500GB HDD, 10/100 LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a 5,800 mAh battery good for up to 7.3 hours and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Weighs 1.5 kg with a thickness of 27.5 mm.
This announcement is over in Japan but as usual, it should get quietly announced in the US and Europe as well. Price is expected to be around 80,000 yen ($962, or more likely just under $600 after adjustments) and it’ll go on sale on Feb 3rd.
