The other day we heard that the recently shipping (in the US) elocity A7 7-inch Android 2.2, Tegra 2 tablet doesn’t have a true multi-touch screen, one with a 1+1 touch that limits the device to pinch-to-zoom. There’s a video review out on YouTube which covers this and notes an upcoming firmware update on the 24th, that’ll fix this issue and perhaps other bugs.
The review, from Digital Digest gives the thumbs up to the elocity A7′s good build quality, faster Flash performance over the Galaxy Tab (faster processor) and pages loading up quicker than some of Archos’ tablet lineup but isn’t too happy about the poor pinch-to-zoom implementation in the browser and a WiFi connectivity bug.
