Looks like all the brands are coming out with Oak-trail tablets in Q1 2011 according to Digitimes. We can expect to see these tablets from ASUS, Samsung, Acer, Dell and Toshiba. We can expect to see the tablets combining an Atom Z670 processor with an SM35 chipset, Intel hopes it’ll do for tablets what its Centrino platform did for notebooks.
A number of vendors are expected to showcase their Oak Trail-platform tablet PCs at the upcoming CES trade show and will begin to market the products in February or March.

Prior to the launch of Oak Trail-based tablet PCs, ASUS is expected to unveil high-end, 12″ tablet, powered by Intel’s Core i5 CPUs, at the end of December. The 12-inch models, one pictured above, will be priced between US$1,000-1,299, will target the US and Europe initially.
