We’ve heard before that Acer would be releasing a tablet or tablets this month – in fact, we were told November 23 in New York, which is tomorrow. Digitimes is confirming that today but with more info on what’s coming and it’s not just one tablet but two.

One is a 10-inch Windows 7 tablet and the other is a 7-inch Android 2.2 (Froyo) tablet. Apparently internal conflict at Acer is split between waiting out for Android 3.x and releasing early to grab a piece of the pie while it’s left – I guess we know how that turned out. Acer is hoping their Windows 7 tablet will take away share from Apple’s iPad leading up to Christmas.
