As promised, Jolicloud and Vye’s Jolibook has hit the UK first, and it’s now up for order at Amazon.com priced at 279.99 pounds. It’s not shipping just yet however with a shipping date of 1 – 3 months. Jolicloud fills the product features list with stuff like “starts-up in seconds” and “hundreds of apps available in 1 click”.
There’s the specs we know already – a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 display, Intel Atom N550 processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, integrated graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 0.3MP webcam, 6-cell 4,400 mAh 7 hour battery and Jolicloud 1.1 for the OS. The usual array of ports. Weighs 1.35 kg. Jolicloud 1.1 is still not yet available.
