The Netbook News team is still in San Francisco attending all kinds on conferences and this morning’s poison of choice is the BlackBerry DevCon Press Conference which kicks off at 10am PST. We’ve been told by the conference organizers well before the rumor of the BlackPad surfaced that there was going to be no major tablet announcements and that the conference was going to focus on the developer community.
This is confirmed by both BGR and Electronista have unofficially heard that the events on Monday won’t be product unveilings and will stick to the development focus of the San Francisco conference. I guess they didn’t get the third degree to attend this conference because having to justify to an outsourced PR agency that BlackBerry is doing a tablet and their developer comminty will need to get involved was a lengthy process.
So in just a few hours be prepared to find out how the BlackPad is going to tackle software and hopefully user interface!
