We still haven’t heard any official announcement on the ASUS Lamborghini VX6 12.1″ dual core ION 2 netbook in the US even though it’s been up at ExcaliberPC for months now but this promo video outed today by ASUS reassures us that it’s indeed coming and probably very soon. Still no product pages up at ASUS nor any new store listings.
ASUS lists the main features – dual core Atom D525 processor, Nvidia ION 2, Nvidia Optimus, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 and Bang & Olufsen ICEPower sound. Specs like RAM and storage may vary but this is what is listed at ExcaliberPC – 2GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 6-cell 6 hour battery and Windows 7 Home Premium. Ports – SDXC card reader, HDMI, VGA, LAN, 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, audio jacks.
