We thought we'd give you a bit more details on Tegra, so here's an interview that Nicole did with Glenn Schuster from Nvidia at Computex. The interview covers all the basics of what Tegra is and what makes it different from other ARM based processors. The total power draw of the 8.9-inch smartbooks are about 3W with the display on. In this second video of the Mobinnova élan we've got Henry Lin from Mobinnova talking us through some of the software features of this Tegra based smartbook. There are some demo's of 1080p HD video playback and it can do this for six hours on a single charge. The UI isn't the version that will be shipping, but rather a version that Nvidia is supplying to its partners.
