It’s day 2 at CES so that means that its already begun for the press! We got to spend some time with Lenovo and have our hands on with the IdeaPad Hybrid U1 which is tablet running Android and a base running on Intel’s Core i series. Looking at greater detail at the specifications the base is running Windows 7 Home Premium and a 1.2 GHz Intel CULV Core i5-540UM CPU (there is also the option for Core i3), 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB hard drive, along with one USB port and HDMI.

The tablet is running Android 2.1 currently but they are waiting on Honeycomb to release it state side. The first place you’ll be able to pick up this hybrid is in China in Q1 of 2011. Price should range around U1 Hybrid laptop will start at a pricier $1,300, pretty pricey but its alot of machine!
