A pre-order page for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 has popped up on an electronics components site called Lambda Tek Component Shop, teasing pricing and availability for the follow-up to the popular Asus Eee Pad Transformer.

According to the model number on the pre-order page and the Tegra 3 spec listed, it’s likely that this unknown device is indeed the successor to the Eee Pad Transformer. Our previous post on the rumored Transformer 2 said that it would probably have the next-generation, quad-core NVIDIA processor, code-named Kal-El, inside. It was also postulated that the processor would actually be called the Tegra 3.

The sparse details on Lambda Tek’s site claim that the Transformer 2 may have a 10.1″ screen, 32 GB internal storage, and 1 GB RAM. The site also seems to claim that the Transformer 2 would be running Android 3.x, but with Ice Cream Sandwich almost here, it would make more sense for the upcoming tablet to use that instead. So as always, be hopeful but skeptical regarding these specs.

Pricing information says the Transformer 2 will be £448.21 without VAT, which converts to about $698.71 USD. Of course direct conversion of European prices doesn’t usually reflect US MSRP. However, current pricing for the Eee Pad Transformer (Amazon link) and its keyboard dock (Amazon link) cost about $478 USD when purchased together, depending on the sellers, so the price for the Eee Pad Transformer 2 alone seems reasonable, possibly an MSRP of $599 for a 32 GB model here in the US when all is said and done?

Finally, the Lambda Tek site listed a possible ship date of November 7 for the Eee Pad Transformer 2. Since that date is less than a month away, if it’s true, we should be seeing more concrete details for the Transformer 2 very soon.
