The Good
The ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is an amazing choice if you’re looking for a sleek, portable, and powerful Chromebook. This Chromebook is known for its amazing display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its also touchscreen as well allowing you to easily navigate through the interface. And last but not least, the Chromebook has a 360-degree hinge allowing you to easily use it at any angle.
The Bad
There really aren’t that many negatives when it comes to the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 with all of the amazing features that set it apart from other Chromebook. Sadly its also very different when it comes to price when compared to other Chromebooks as well. This one is a little bit more expensive than your standard Chromebook device which somehow defeats the purpose of a Chromebook in the first place.

The ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is one of the best Chromebooks that came out in 2019. It’s very similar to the Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre x360 since it features a 360-degree hinge which isn’t just a neat gimmick but also very practical as well.
The Chromebook has tons of features that certainly helped earn its positive review from both customers and critics alike. Needless to say, you’ll have a hard time hating this fine piece of hardware and we’re going to tell you why.

Touchscreen display and Android Compatibility
Starting simple, this Chromebook features a touchscreen display that already sets it apart from other Chromebooks. With this feature, you can easily navigate through its interface without having to exert a lot of effort.
Its certainly easier and less restrictive to use than a touchpad and you don’t have to use a mouse to simply drag and scroll to the screen as well.
Asides from this, a lot of people will be happy to find out that the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is also android compatible as well so you’ll be able to play your favorite android games quite easily.
And considering that the Chromebook has a touchscreen, the experience will be similar to that of playing on a phone but with a bigger display.
Playing android games with a mouse is possible but not ideal. If you really want to play a game to the best of your ability, it’s ideal to play it the way it was intended and that’s with touchscreen for android games.

Comfortable Backlit Keyboard
The ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 isn’t just focused on the other appearances but it also is very pragmatic as well. This Chromebook comes with a solid and reliable keyboard with 1.3 mm of key travel.
This gives the keys less actuation force allowing you easily press them for an overall faster typing experience. Being 14 inches in size, the key is also well spaced and evenly distributed with more room for your hands and fingers to type, increasing overall typing accuracy.
What’s even better is that the keyboard has a backlight as well allowing you to easily see the key and use them at night.
Quality Audio
Last but not least we have the audio. Thanks to its unique 360 design, the speakers are able to produce quality audio for you to hear. Being foldable and its ability to be used in different speakers simply leaves the speakers more room to work with.
Of course, the speakers are also pretty decent at creating up to 68.4 dB. It may not compare to other premium laptops but its pretty considering that the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is a Chromebook.
Watching movies in FHD won’t mean much if the audio quality is garbage. You cannot fully immerse yourself in what you’re watching if your ears don’t agree with your eyes.
Durable 360 Degree Hinge
We did not forget the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 most prominent feature which is its 360-degree hinge. The hinge allows you to adjust the Chromebooks display at any angle without the risk of damaging it.
Its designed to be more flexible and the hinges itself is pretty sturdy as well. Because of this feature, you can enjoy using your Chromebook in many different ways from using it as a normal laptop to folding it like a table.
You can even use it in the form of a pyramid which might seem impractical at first but since the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 uses a touchscreen its actually a handy position to use.

Lastly, being 14 inches, it’s larger and more powerful than ever, allowing you to enjoy things like watching quality videos with its FHD screen and playing high-end android games with its slightly better specs. The ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is simply a good competitor for Windows and Mac premium laptops.

Buy it if…
You don’t get to see a lot of premium Chromebooks and the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is definitely a “premium” class with all of its features and specs. This Chromebook may be a bit pricey but if you’re looking for something portable, nice to look at, and a wonderful display, then this is a good choice for you.
It even has a 360-degree hinge which honestly makes it very convenient to have around. It allows you to use the laptop in many different ways from a standard laptop to a foldable tablet. Versatility and convenience make the best laptops and the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 can be considered one of the best Chromebooks to have come out recently.
Don’t buy it if….
The ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 is an amazing piece of hardware and its ability to a lot of things that other Chromebooks could not. Sadly it’s not very durable, especially when compared to other Chromebooks.
Dropping the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 can lead to severe damage such as a broken screen, malfunctioning buttons, and significant damage to its fragile Aluminum Chassis. So in short, its a high-functioning but fragile Chromebook.
Asides from its glass-like toughness, it only gets worse since this Chromebook is also expensive. It’s a high-end device which means that even minor accidents will cost you a lot of money since you could possibly end up with a damaged Chromebook that you can barely use.
So we recommend that you don’t buy this if you plan to give this to kids or if you aren’t sure that you can take care of it properly. This Chromebook is similar to a high-end vase; they’re both fragile and expensive. You’re better off buying a cheaper alternative instead.
