Unboxing: ASUS Eee PC 1201N (Video)

Unboxing of the ASUS Eee PC 1201N taht feature a dual core Intel Atom 330 processor which is normally reserved for desktop systems. The big draw in for many people who need graphic performance is its Nvidia ION which will give you 1080p playback and the ability to do some moderate gaming.

Lets get into the unboxing because really I just want to see what comes in the box!!

Atom N270 vs. Atom N330 vs Intel SU7300 CULV

The ever-resourceful Brad over at Liliputing has found himself in possession of an HP Mini 311 notebook with a 1.6GHz Atom N270 and ION graphics, an ASRock ION 330 nettop, also with ION graphics, but this time a dual core 1.6GHz Atom 330 processor, and an Asus UL20A with an Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo CULV processor and integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics.  So he did what any sensible person would do and benchmarked the lot of them, and handily included a few real-world tests to boot.  There are no great surprises here, but it’s certainly interesting to see some science being applied to the common problem of which internals to choose.
