Want to stream 1080p HD video wirelessly from your notebook / netbook straight to another monitor or your TV? Perhaps you might be interested in ASUS’ WiCast EW2000 which was announced earlier this month which employs WHDI technology and is capable of up to 3Gb/s transfer speed, full 1080p HD and under 1ms latency.
Plug in the transmitter via HDMI to your device, then the receiver to your display. Direct line of sight not required. The transmitter can be powered by your device by two USB ports. If you’re using a netbook you’ll need one with HDMI out. A HDMI and USB cable are provided.
It’s up at Amazon.com, priced at $199 though not in stock at the moment. Check out ASUS’ product page as well for more info.
