The WeTab is going to the the first MeeGo tablet to market with a release date of September 27th, 2010 in Germany. We got to jump in on a meeting with Xavier from http://www.notebooks.com who was filming the boot time of this 11.6 inch tablet. The WeTab boots in 16 Seconds and has 1 second instant on.

To remind you the WeTab has a capacitive touch screen, 32-64GB SSD, Intel Atom N450 processor, 1080p HD playback support a Broadcom Crystal HD card, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ambient light sensor, accelerometer and a customized MeeGo install. If you want to know how you’ll be able to connect with this monster tablet, its got 2x USB 2.0, HDMI, SD Card reader, SIM slot and a docking port that will have LAN, HDMI and additional ports. All this weighing in at 990g with a 35Wh battery lasting 4 – 5 hours.

This is a mistake I think WeTab has got MeeGo on it, the ExpoPc runs on win 7. You don not have double boot on the WeTab or you have?

Yes that’s right. Thanks, corrected the post. There’s no Windows installed. Sure you could dual boot easily.. parts are typical x86 netbook parts.

That was a mistake. No Windows on board, but you can easily install it yourself in a dual boot.

Then is better choice to have the ExpoPC with 2GB ram and 32 SSD with win 7 for 599$ and double boot it the the WeTab with 1GB and 16SSD and MeeGo for the same price.

Why make Bill Gates richer by buying A Windows 7 tablet. I like MeeGo better was if
WeTab sticked by Ubuntu and using ARMprocessors or other kind of cheap Chinese processor
