When it comes to Atom powered nettops, the dual core Atom D525 and ION 2 combo is the killer combo, but it’s still relatively slow put into perspective and I would definitely not recommend them as desktop replacements for people needing to do work on them. That’s where more powerful nettops come in like this latest HTPC focused one from ASRock – the Vision 3D 135B which packs in some powerful specs.
The ASRock Vision 3D 135B features an Intel Core i3-730M processor, 2GB DDR3-1066MHz RAM (2 slots), Nvidia GeForce GT425M graphics (with 3D vision), 500GB 7200RPM 2.5″ HDD, Gigabit LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Windows 7. Ports – 3x USB 3.0, 5x USB 2.0, audio jacks, 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI (7.1 channel audio with THX TruStudio Pro), DVI, S/PDIF, eSATA II and a Blu-ray slot drive. Includes an MCE remote control.
I don’t see it in any stores online and there’s no mention of price.
