Now that Acer’s got it’s latest generation Aspire Revo nettops revealed, it’s time to find out the release dates for them. The Intel Atom D525 / ION based Aspire Revo 3700 is on schedule for later this year everywhere except Japan where it is shipping next week. Then there’s the AMD based Revo 100, which packs AMD guts and looks like a futuristic playstation which I think was ready to go on sale in Asia the last time we posted about it.

Now both Acer Aspire Revo nettops have made their way to Germany with both models now available to pre-order at Amazon Germany, although none show estimated shipping dates.

First, the Acer Revo 100 - There are two models up, the standard DVD model with a 250GB HDD priced at 499 euros and the Blu-ray model with 500GB HDD priced at 599 euros. Other than they both share the same AMD Athlon II Neo K325 (dual core, 1.3GHz) processor with ATI Radeon HD 3225 graqphics), 2GB RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium. Or is it Nvidia ION graphics? Interestingly both the Amazon listing and the previous hands on post mention Nvidia ION graphics. Description is mixed up with the other Revo, clearly.

Then there’s the Acer Aspire Revo R3700 nettop which just got announced the other day, in three models. The base model with Linux, 2GB RAM and 250GB HDD is priced at 349 euros, the mid model with the same specs except with Windows 7 Home Premium priced at $399 and the high end model with 4GB RAM and a 320GB HDD and Windows for $449. As I stated in the last post, the Acer Aspire Revo R3700 is not going to cost $580 as you can see with these prices. All models share the same Intel Atom D525 (1.8GHz, dual core) processor and Nvidia ION 2 graphics.
