Looks like AMD is starting to make its way more and more into the main stream. The ASUS 1215T has the brand new 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor along with its 12.1 glossy display. This would be the third netbook that is sporting AMDs newest mobile processor, the Acer Aspire One 721 and the base model of the Dell Inspiron M101z.

The AMD K125 chip offers decent performance and it’s usually bundled with ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics which is capable of HD video playback and some 3D graphics acceleration. The ATI Radeon hasn’t been confirmed for the the Eee PC 1215T, but it is meant to ship with HDMI and VGA output so it seems logical that a HD video-capable graphics card would be on board.
Other specs include 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. No word on when its going to start shipping for $445 Euros, or about $566 US. Oh and before you get too excited, so far its only available in Germany.
