Late last month, eLocity demonstrated their upcoming Tegra 2 Android tablet and it looked pretty competitive apart from the lack of Marketplace. It was scheduled for a pre-order date of September 3 but they are one week late on that scheduled date as it has just gone up for pre-order at Amazon.com priced at $370.
Like the Australian ePad N7 equivalent, both tablets will be shipping in October, however the Australian rebrand offers more customization and includes optional 3G which this Amazon model is lacking currently.
The specs list a 7-inch display, Android 2.2, 512MB DDR2 RAM, Nvidia Tegra 2, 4GB flash memory, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0. Weighs 1.02 lbs with a 0.5″ thickness. For a more detailed look at the specs, see Pioneer Computer’s ePad N7 product page.
