Here’s a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s at IFA 2010. This may or may not be new to you depending on where you’re from. It has never been released in the US for example. The S10-3s differs from the older S10-3s by having a rounder chassis with cheaper plastics and upgrading to DDR3 compatible Atom N455 / N475 processors with DDR3 RAM. What’s new here is a HD display on this demoed S10-3s model.

As typical with previous Lenovo HD displays on netbooks, it’s 720p – 1280 x 720 resolution with 10.1″ size. Don’t know if they’ll buck the trend and release these HD displays outside of Europe and Asia.

i LOVE the design of this series as its so “short & squaty”. while its nice to hear that it will be coming with N550 i dont think Atom is enough these days, i think need N550/ION or CULV.

ive been on the netbook bandwagon for years but im really sick of shitty video playback & the new lack of HD external monitor support kills it.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Definitely excited to see the 1015PN / N arrive.

Agreed, but some of the N455 are killing it! I don’t know what HP has done with the 210, but 720p locally with no issue. I think if people try to make a decent netbook then they work! But if they just keep on putting out cheap products then the netbook category will keep getting a bad rap.

That Keyboard justifies the large bezel.
