There’s not much innovation in the netbook segment these days but occasionally someone comes out with something useful enough like this latest “Fast Start” technology from Samsung which has been brought over from their laptops to their latest netbook range.
The technology almost speaks for itself – it allows you to quickly resume usage off of where you last left off. Sort of like an improved standby but the difference is the Windows state is saved to your storage like hibernation does. We were told it can last in this state for 2 – 3 days.
