Following on from our 7-inch Android tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab hands on earlier today is a benchmark of the tablet’s overall performance and then some relaxing afterwards with some gaming.
We tested with Quadrant and got a result of 1064. That’s a good notch up from the Samsung Galaxy S and just below the Motorola Droid X and a small distance behind the Nexus One 2.2+. So it’s definitely very fast, although Nvidia Tegra 2 which will be found on some tablets will cream the competition (The Toshiba AC100 scored 1911).
And here’s Sascha relaxing with some gaming – Need for Speed Shift. Very slick with no drop in frames. Glad to hear he’s a very responsible driver, too!
