What’s a good way to make your tablet 125% better? Why, slapping on a 3D display of course. Sharp has big hopes for an upcoming 3D tablet and so does i-Station, a company based in Korea. They’ve announced the Z3D 3D tablet among a couple of smartphones.
The Z3D tablet features a 7″ 800 x 480 display, Android 2.1, b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, 5000mAh battery, DMB TV-tuner, 32GB or 64GB SSD and 1080p HD video support. Dorky glasses for enjoying a 3D view may or may not be included.
The Z3D will be launching in November, in Korea of course, for around $500. It’ll join the Samsung Galaxy Tab (if it’s released there) and the Identity Tab as 7-inch Android tablets competing for attention.
