HP Taiwan launches limited edition Mini 110 in pink

HP Mini 110 pink limited editionI think this is one for the ladies, although I’m sure there are a few lads out there that are into pink as well, but HP’s new special edition of the Mini 110 actually comes in a rather stylish pink and black combo.

The lid features an intricate pattern of flowers, while the keyboard, touchpad and wrist rest comes in a matching pink colour. The screen bezel and bottom remains black, unlike most previous pink netbooks that we’ve seen that have been a combination of pink and white.

On the hardware side of things there’s nothing much to get excited about here, it has an Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Windows XP, 802.11b/g WiFi and a 1,024×576 resolution 10.1-inch display. The price is farly steep, as it’s retailing for €429/$606, but remember that this really is a limited edition as HP has only made 1,000 units and they’re to be sold exclusivlely in Taiwan.

The pink edition of the Mini 110 went on pre-order yesterday and customers purchasing it at the AP show (a consumer IT show in Taipei) will also get a complimentary €35/$49 worth of Dior makeup. Now that’s a deal if I’ve ever heard of one…

I bought this computer at Fry's in California so apparently they lied when saying it was in Taiwan only :(
  • that's interesting. Are you sure it wasn't just the Vivienne Tam Edition?

Nope, definitely sure it's the same computer. Mine doesn't have a speck of red in it. I just added a pic of the computer to my photobucket account so you can see it:

    Looks the same to me.
